Icelandic Honeymoon: slideshow, photos
Allison and I traveled counter-clockwise around the island on the ring road, starting in Reykjavík on March 26, 2010. We saw countless waterfalls, glaciers, lagoons, rock formations, horses, and fjords. We bathed in geothermal water every chance we could get.

Potatoes in garlic mayonnaise
This is a good recipe, but perhaps a bit heavy handed with the garlic. Posted so I remember.
1.5 pounds of salad potatoes
3/4 cup mayonnaise
6 cloves garlic, mashed to a paste or put through a garlic press
4 tablespoons minced parsley
Lemon Juice

Kidney stone, impending doom, narcotic bliss
I was driving downtown on 290 yesterday morning in order to pick up a coworker for a meeting in Barrington when lo and behold the most excruciating and unforgettable pain came upon me.
