Felix's take on our wedding
Felix did a great job documenting the wedding from his perspective and he has posted several photos and video up on his (wonderful) blog. His lovely wife Liz made our cake, which you can see at his post by clicking the image above, which shows some of the printed materials that Allison and I designed for the event.

Instamatic photos of our wedding
Stu took a gazillion photos of the day that we’ve yet to sift through, but Justin was there with his instant camera and captured the event in a really wonderful and unique way too. Allison has scanned them all and put them up on her flickr page, just click the image above to see all of them. This is my favorite of the bunch - Allison with her brother Beauen, hamming it up.

Life is difficult, but i'm thankful
I’m about to marry the love of my life. I have three beautiful and brilliant children. I have a group of friends that are loving and generous. I have a job that I enjoy and I work with amazing and talented people. I am loved, I am forgiven, I am tested daily, and I am thankful.
Emmett wins 3rd place in the pinewood derby
Emmett and I worked pretty hard on his pinewood car this year, and it payed off. He won 3rd place for pack 66, beating out 27 other kids on the tracks. This was our first year doing this with many many more to come when you add Zion and Josiah in the equation. I learned some things and I’m hoping that Zion and Emmett will both place well next year. Reason #457 for loving the heck out of Allison...
Last weekend, Allison put together a mega-taste-test for us and the kids. We tasted seven different cheeses and eight different chocolates. It was fun to track the kids’ reactions to these sometimes complex and adult flavors. She never tires of exploration, and it feeds all of our imaginations.

Walk A Thin Line →
Fleetwood Mac is so awesome. Well, maybe not when you survey their entire discography, but they’ve got some REALLY incredible songs. This one, “Walk A Thin Line” is my favorite so i’ve endeavored to do it justice with my approach. I think it turned out nicely, and it was a good opportunity to tinker with the new melodica and record more of Allison’s voice. Enjoy!
